Princess Candycane is the daughter of Queen Chocolate, and the only known heir to the CandyWing kingdom. She is a cheery figure, always jubilant in public. It is rumored that she is dating Hershey, a young male CandyWing who has been orphaned since birth.

I got some pictures on my phone

Appearance Edit

Candycane is rather small and thin for her age. She has a smaller-than-average snout, with long crimson horns branching off her head. The dragoness has large wings, with the membranes being the same crimson as her horns. In intense daylight, one can see hints of copper in there. Her tail is elongated and thin, and Candycane prefers to whip it around as to show superiority.

In terms of appearance, Candycane as colorful as any CandyWing. She has almost a gradient across her scales that stretches across her body. This means she is bright red by her snout, and white at the tip of her tail. The rest of the hues stretch across her body in a single order. Candycane's snout is dotted with mahogany freckles, and her eyes are a brilliant electric blue in color.

Candycane has a white scarf that never seems to come off her neck. None of the royal advisers have seen her without it, even when she sleeps. She prefers to wear some jewelry, but only in moderation. Three obsidian bands don each leg, and two hoop earrings are usually present in Candycane's ears. One piece of jewelry is special to her, though, and, like her scarf, Candycane never takes it off. It's a copper necklace, with a heart-shaped hunk of antimony at the center. This was a gift from her late grandmother, Queen Candy, at Candycane's hatching day. The necklace is to honor her memory. Therefore, it will always remain directly above her heart at all times.

History Edit

Candycane's egg came as a shock to her mother, who was sick at the time of her birth. There were concerns about whether she would turn out ok, but sure enough, the feeble dragonet turned out fine. Her sister, however, was not. She had hatched in a separate egg, but did not survive to hatching. This was an incredibly sad moment, but the family was still grateful for their surviving daughter.

After the hatching, Queen Chocolate constantly contemplated whether or not she should have more heirs. However, as Candycane grew up, the thought died away. Even as a tiny dragon, she had the regal aspects of a queen. That pleased her mother, who decided that one heir was enough. Why? I'm not sure- it could be chaos if both of them die.
